The Judith Clurman: Rejoice, Honoring the Jewish Spirit Choral Series has included songs new and old, original compositions and arrangements. Here is an arrangement of a very important Yiddish folk song that was almost lost during the Holocaust. Marko Rothmuller makes a very classical arrangement using dissonance and vocal counterpoint. Musically and textually we describe the Hasidic rabbi dancing in an ecstatic manner.
