Like most popular Scottish folksongs, this one is rooted in history, but now has been transformed into a nonsense song. Aiken Drum, with his clothes made of tasty food, is creatively portrayed here in this clever edition withScottish drone sounds, the melody passing from part to part, and underlying snare drum. A cheerful encore or folk selection!
