This is a tricky but rewarding Trumpet Sonata by German composer Paul Hindemith. He was a distinguished viola player and an important composer during the first half of the 20th century. With leaps and very deliberatetextured melody, this is a dramatic and sombre work exemplifying Hindemith&rsquo,s skill and instrumental sensitivity.
