A special discovery: the three songs composed by Richard Strauss at the age of 15 had long been regarded as lost. The song Aus der Kindheit, dedicated to 'Frau Sophie Dietz k. bair. Kammersängerin hochachtungsvollst', is published for the first time. It cannot be said with any certainty if this song was performed in private in Strauss' lifetime.
