A true big band classic, for the first time available in print. Originally recorded by the Thad Jones/Mel Lewis Jazz Orchestra on Solid State. Woodwind doubles: alto 1 and 2 double on flutes, tenor 1 and 2, baritone double on clarinets. The arrangement works well without the woodwind doublings, all notes are doubled in the trumpet section and in the piano part.
