This setting of Psalm 123 was commissioned by the Kurashiki Boys' and Girls' Choir (Japan) and its conductor, Yuko Namba. Lasting approximately six and a half minutes, this lyrical work features a variety of textures, ranging from unison passages to sections employing nine independent vocal parts. The piece is recommended for professional and advanced amateur children's and women's choirs.
