The duet Poem is originally a piano piece, one of the movements of the Jazz Preludes (Wolf-temperiertes Klavier) published in 2022. The arrangement was made by the composer in 2023. In this transcription, the meditative melancholy of the piano piece has been transformed into a sad dialogue between the melody on the dark-toned solo instrument and the piano part.
