Mendelssohn's incidental music for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream has deservedly become one of the composer's best-known works. He was only seventeen when he composed the iconic Overture in 1826; the complete incidental music was finished in 1842, at the height of his career.In addition to the Overture, this edition contains piano arrangements of four further movements, including the famous Wedding March.
