The Flute ABC is the work of flautist and flute teacher Vilmos Bántai, who died not long ago. Earlier it was circulated in manuscript, but now the widow of the artist, Éva Sipos, herself a music teacher of international renown, has completed it for publication. Folk songs of different nationalities and children's songs help greatly with learning the new notes. The musical material of the volume is compiled so that it links directly with the next stage, the first volume of the time-tested Flute Method by Zoltán Jeney (Z. 5457).
