David Popper's Fifteen Easy Studies was written for the early years of cello study. These short, melodic études combine technical development with musical expression, helping students improve their intonation, bowing technique, rhythmic accuracy, and expressive playing. The studies can be played entirely in first position and include an optional second cello part, allowing students to make music together with their teacher.
