I See Fire is Ed Sheeran's contribution to the soundtrack to The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, the second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpieceTheHobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Ed Sheeran worked closely with, director of the Hobbit films, Peter Jackson to create this peaceful, but powerful, piece specifically forthefilm.
