Commissioned by the Texas Choral Director's Association, this work for men's voices to a text by Michael Dennis Browne expresses the fresh and vibrant sense of the journey of being a man in the modern world, and especially a youngman in a beautiful and volatile world. Opening with a declamatory text over rhythmic motives in the piano, the work builds and unfolds in waves of sound to the final phrase, 'we are all sons singing.' Duration: ca.6:30.
