Commissioned at the request of the Very Revd Mark Bonney, Dean of Ely Cathedral, for his father John Bonney, and first performed on 23 October 2016 by Sing Aotearoa (New Zealand Choral Federation), Kokako Singers, directed by the composer, in Rotorua, NZ.
