During his stay in Paris, on his way to American exile, Walter Jurmann received a contract as a composer at MGM in Hollywood. From 1935 - in collaboration with well-known writers - numerous songs for film stars like Deanna Durbin, Clark Gable and Judy Garland were created. This edition includes songs such as San Francisco, All God's Chillun, Rhythm, Love Song of Tahiti from the mutiny on the Bounty as well as 15 unpublished songs.
