Scandinavian traditional music specialist and folk fiddler Vicki Swan provides notes on the history of the music, as well as playing techniques and styles. The volume is accompanied a recording of all tunes performed by Vicki Swan. German and French translations of all texts are available as pdf downloads from the Schott Music website.
