Philip Moore's Lo! God Is Here! for SATB choir was commissioned by the Dean and Chapter of St Paul's Cathedral for the Cathedral's Tercentenary Celebrations. It is within the technical grasp of most amateur choirs, and could be programmed in a concert and throughout the liturgical year. The work beautifully juxtaposes accompanied plainsong with homophonic writing.
