Chopin intended his mazurkas and waltzes for concert performance. These works are more than dance music: thanks to their sophisticated craft they are considered among the most lyrical pieces in music literature. The adaptations in this edition are ideal for the accordion: the unique character and expressive capabilities of the instrument reveal new dimensions of these masterworks. We recommend the transcriptions for intermediate and advanced players.
