In a time when we hope and pray so fervently for peace, 'A Kyrie for Our Time' calls our attention to solvable problems that have always been present. In a world so full of beauty and wonder...Children live inpoverty and hunger. In a world so full of hope for tomorrow...Children live in sickness, pain, and sorrow. Kyrie eleison. A haunting melody, melancholy flute obbligato, and a shimmering descant make this lovely prayer anappropriate reminder of what our response should be each and every day of the year.
