Created for the use of advanced flautists, the exercises should helpplayers to gain clarity and sonority. Considered as a maestro by some musicians, Marcel Moyse has composed many flute methods and exercise books also published by Alphonse Leduc, such as Scales and Arpeggios (1933), DailyExercises (1922) and On Sonority (1934). His methods are widely used and recognised worldwide.
