Generations of drummers grew up in Hungary and abroad at Iván Nestor's school, published in 1983. Many of his students became nationally and even internationally known musicians, including Gergő Borlai, Péter Szendőfi, Tamás Berdisz, Lajos Gyenge.
The four-volume publication is a recommended textbook for music schools and the Jazz Department of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.
