This setting for women's choir of three verses from Psalm 51 was commissioned by the Japanese choir La Pure Fuente and its conductor, Mikiko Sato, in 2025. A slow, penitential work pleading for forgiveness, it is permeated by a sombre atmosphere, contrasted by a bright, hopeful secondary theme.
