The title ╩ Sonatine La Exalté ( exalted,unworldly, impetuous sonatina) states the mood and the musical world of this three-part opus.As for their structure, the movements are traditional, they represent the classical ternary (A B A) form, but with subtle musical expansions and allusions. The themes of the first and second movement are mixed together masterfully by the composer, thereby elevating the music to a higher level. Passion is immanently present in all three movements. The polyphonic texture of the composition is remarkable, as is its masterful alternation with simpler musical motives. The mood and message of the work is accentuated by the use of anunusual tuning of the guitar. This makes the composition more passionate and exalted, as the title designates. Attila Reményi
