The pieces in the present selection for symphonic band have been meticu­ lously arranged by the editor. They are challenging for the players both musically and intellectually, taking their age and level of musicianship into consideration. They offer excellent practice for a band in playing together, achieving exact intonation, articulation and a homogeneous sound.
