Originally composed Windy Nights and Other Tales as a trilogy for pianists who grew up playing my earlier tone poem collections and who desired music at intermediate to late intermediate levels. As part of the 30th Anniversary celebration of my first collection, A Child's Garden of Verses, I have added a bonus piece, ''Autumn Fires'', to this newly revised edition of Windy Nights and Other Tales, thus making it a quartet of piano solos.
