Polyphony is an utterly important sphere of studying straight from the primary music education. Children's intonational perception is very often limited to the supporting-voiced facture. Even the senior students are deprived of the opportunity to master canonic and imitation polyphony, because of scanty repertoire composed for this trend's development.

The Easy two- and three-voiced pieces by Mikhail Yefimov are intended for selectedly-prepared button accordion. Yefimov's favourite polyphonic genre is the classical miniature. The author made them convenient for both bayan and accordion. The left hand's fingering is written out in details, while the right hand's fingering is omitted purposefully, for any teacher may easily insert his own one to the music.
