This collection presents three cycles of Samuel Maykapar's piano pieces: ''12 caric preludes without stretching an octave'' (published for the first time), ''Three carist preludes for small hands'' and ''Octave intermezzo''. In these cycles, the composer paid special attention to the development of the technique of playing double notes: thirds, sexts and octaves. The musical material is arranged in order of increasing complexity and is sized for small hands. Preludes are simple and clear structurally, easy to remember, which allows you to concentrate the student's attention on mastering techniques. The publication is addressed to students of middle and high school classes, and also lovers of piano music.
