Pieces of the Little Jazz Suite for a flute (and clarinet) and a piano by the Petersburgian composer Natalia Volkova are written under the impressions of rhythms and melodies of some genres of jazz music. Technical simplicity and ease of perception will allow to execute a suite by professionals and young musicians.
The blues as a musical genre has developed on the basis of Negro folklore, in particular, such ethnic genres as ''a working song'' and spiritual. Formation of a classical blues had been completed to the end of 20th years of the 20th century with the advent of ensembles, that executed it.
The term Boogie-Woogie had become current in the beginning of the 20th century as the name of the dance under accompaniment of a piano. Alhough Boogie-Woogie has arisen as a purely piano style, subsequently pieces in it began to be executed by ensembles and orchestras.
The Bossa-nova is the new style of the Brazilian music representing an original mix of a jazz with various lo cal rhythms, first of all, by a samba.
