Ensemble work is the most important activity of teacher-percussionist. Mutual music-making is an efficient way to acquire basic skills for any kind of cast - symphonic, wind, folk orchestra, rock- or pop group, jazz or ethnic group etc. Ensemble playing in percussion class makes for the development of such features as rhythm and feeling of sound balance.
Difficulty and capacity, various genres (academic, folk, pop) so as different instrumental cast, - these are the main distinctions of the ensemble pieces included to this educational collection. Hopefully, this publication will make for the school concert repertoire to be rich on the benefit of young musicians’ outlook.
