You are given the unique chance to peep into the collection of completed pieces originally created for piano in four hands by the great Russian composer Mikhail Ivanovich Glinka (1804-1857), so as his arrangements of the opuses initially implied for other instruments. Melodic sphere looks mostly elaborated here: expressive human speech, as the musicologist Boris Asafiev used to say. Of course, it requires refined lissom intoning, making this music mostly desired for the young pianists?
Vivid harmonic fluctuations, plenty of counterpoints with the inculcated motives of folk nature support the development of timbre hearing, while alternating bosom feelings percolate through the philosophical integrity.
