The ''Compozitor Publishing House - St. Petersburg'' represents the collection ''Moonlit Path'' for violin and piano by Zhanneta Lazarevna Metallidi. The pieces entering this collection were created during different years. Many of them became compulsory at violinists’ competitions (''Romantic Waltz'') and just favourite ones at concerts (''Turner’s Landscape'', ''Tarantella'', ''Scherzo''). On the whole Metallidi’s collection may be considered the kind of educational excursion to the European musical styles. Thus the first piece ''Moonlit Path'' and ''Turner’s Landscape'', the final one, seem to have imbibed the tendencies of musical impressionism, while ''Tarantella'' and ''Country Musicians'' are nothing else, but dancing genre scenes. Fairy theatrical world is revealed in two pieces to H. Ch. Andersen’s tales, while impetuous ''Scherzo'', mysterious ''Romantic Waltz'' and lofty ''Dedication'' give young musicians the opportunity to express their partialities to the romanticism.
