The Concerto A minor and C major for hautboy and string orchestra have already enjoyed popularity amongst the oboists and especially at different professional contests. However, as the composer did not always master his creations to logic perfection, there does not exist any common point of view to the nature of their performing. Some musicians follow rather scrupulously the text, which does not contain any embellishments, others add ornamentation. The compiler of this collection made his own edition of these concertos inserting some melismata and ornamentation. However, the integrity of the author's implication is left untouched, meanwhile the editor tries to reveal the sides, which were left concealed in this composition.
