It was in 1997, when the ''Compozitor Publishing House Sankt Petersburg'' issued the first circulation of the educational aid ''To Music with Joy'' by O. Getalova and I. Viznaya. The book enjoyed the great popularity among the young pianists, who are entering the magic world of music.
The ''Jolly Elephant'' is the new work by Olga Getalova. The author offers your attention the album of light piano ensembles in 4 hands for the children of junior forms. Olga Getalova has been teaching at the Gatchina Children Music School, penetrating into the young musician's minds, studying their abilities. Therefore the pieces forming this collection are composed especially for convenient and interesting playing.
Olga Getalova has also provided her musical miniatures with the poems in the Russian and English languages. All the pieces are illustrated with the most vivid drawings fulfilled by Ksenia Getalova.
