Graduating from the music school, my daughter Elena shared with me once her discomforts at the stage. Perhaps she was timid. So I decided to offer her a concerto for piano and orchestra, which I was going to compose just for her. ''There will be so many people around you, - I said, - the whole orchestra for you only to sit and press the keys!''
At that time Lena had a fancy for the ''ABBA'' group. This passion made her ask me to include something from their repertoire to my concerto. Thus I took the introduction to the ''Money, Money...'' song, adding, however, some jazz devices to it.
The concerto turned out to be quite short, but really a very joyful one. Let me thus, with great pleasure, introduce it to young performers.
