Composer Zhao Xiaolin has studied in Minsk and St. Petersburg for many years. Combining the creation techniques of Russian academic music with the tunes of Chinese national music is one of the characteristics of creation.

This work was completed at the beginning of 2020 and partly used folk songs and opera music tunes from Henan, Chin?. Among them, the folk song ''Weaving Flower Basket'' has a very high reputation in China, and has been widely sung. The five-tone mode and the distinctive ''tuning foreign voice'' use distinctive regional colors, and it is also the music that best represents the ''image of Henan''.

Mr. Xia Xiaotang, conductor of China Philharmonic Orchestra, famous cellist Ms. Kang Qiaoxuan, and Chinese conductor of Utah Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Sun Xun spoke highly of this symphony. The work was made for the Zhengzhou University Symphony Orchestra to participate in the VIth National College Student Art Festival. It fully considers the performance level and technical characteristics of the University Student Symphony Orchestra. The difficulty is moderate and the music language is easy to understand. The work has been recorded in October 2020 and premiered in the society in November of the same year.
