The pieces various characters, included to this collection are not very hard to.b? performed. Many of them were executed by the Petersburgian guitarists, and not once. The author’s utmost desire was to create the kind of music for pleasure and at the same time riot much complicated, so as to entertain both the performers and listeners.
Three ragtimes resemble classically joyful vigorous style of Scott Joplin. However, sometimes sad nostalgic doleful hints creep in.
Preludes are peculiar for their melodic sphere and claccically constructed form.
Ensembles are to be very attractive for musicians, for this edition represents such types of them as - ''Labirint'', the duet in the Renaissance humour and guitar quartet, the rarely met genre ???? world music literature. Both of these compositions will doubtlessby catch the fancy of musicians playing together.
The ensemble lovers will be glad to play choro (two of them). Choro is the Latin-American genre, which may be al so called ''lyrical samba'', for it combines rhythmical impetuosity with simple songful melodies. Choros are intended for flute and guitar. They are usually ? great success at the concerts.
