Petrov Evgenij Viktorovich: Snow White and Seven Dwarves. Eight pictures for accordion
Yevgeniy Petrov is the author of the compositions for symphony orchestra (''Symphonic Pictures'', 1997, symphony ''Petersburg'', 2001), for the Russian folk instruments' orchestra (''Mirage'', 1997, ''Russian Proverbs'' 2000 etc.), for choir (Trinity Troparies, Concerto for choir a cappella, 1995), for brass-quintet, French-horns quartet and other kinds of ensembles, so as for various instruments solo.
The music by Yevgeniy Petrov is used to be performed at all sorts of music festivals (''From Avantgarde to Nowadays'', ''Music Spring'' etc.). The composer takes part in concert programmes and makes records on the CD. In 1998 the composition ''Music for Four French Horns'' by Yevgeniy Petrov was awarded the second prize at the Gartow Foundation Competition, in 2000 the composer was given the title of the St Petersburg grant-aided person and in 2001 - the name of Moscow All-Russian Competition laureate.
