10 Preludes, Op. 23 are among the most popular works by S. V. Rachmaninoff, 1873-1943. The cycle was being created during a long period of time, and therefore does not represent a complete whole, all preludes are diverse in genre, and each has its complete independent form. Nevertheless, there is a unity of internal content, a relationship of textured features, a certain unity of modal-tonal relationships.
