The ''Seasons''... Actually there doesn't exist any mature composer to have neglected this eternal philosophical and ever vital topic in his (her) creation. Large-scaled canvas by G. F. Händel, dynamical vivid oratorio by J. Haydn, poetical expressive concertos by A. Vivaldi, lyrical heartfelt piano pieces by P. Tchaikovsky, picturesque cycle by B. Arapov, fleshly, simple, laconic songs by V. Gavrilin... Creators of different epochs, utterly contrasting stylistic outlooks and perceptions gave birth to this uniqie sphere evoking philosophical meditations about Man and Nature, God and phenomena inexplicable, the Universal Spirit and Mysterious World.
Together with the predeccessors' compositions there are the ones having appeared not long ago. The musical language is modernized, but the kernel remains the same - feelings, oracular presentiments, dramatic perception of the existence, emotional scale of the human begin in the contemporary world.
Finally, it's worth to mark the in disputable use of these miniatures to be included to educational and concert repertoire.
