They are relativly early compositions probably written for an unknown amateur violinist.The edition, in partnership with the Fonazione Giorgio Cini, Venice, aims at maximum fidelity to the composer´s intentions. The Critical Commentary lists all variations exciting between the main source and the secondary sources.
