With lyrics and music by Mark Lowry and Buddy Greene, Mary, Did You Know? was originally recorded by the Christian recording artist Michael English on his solo debut album. Multiple recordings haveappeared over the years across multiple genres ranging from contemporary gospel to a cappella, country and R&B, most recently by the popular vocal group Pentatonix.
