Using the beautiful 'In Paradisum' from Faure's 'Requiem' as a foundation, veteran arranger Douglas E. Wagner cleverly incorporates the hymntune 'Hamburg' by Lowell Mason and the 'When I Survey' text of Isaac Watts. Set in an accessible 2-Part Mixed voicing, with an optional obbligato for Flute or Violin, this is a great choice for Communion and the Lenten season.
