A good means for amateur orchestras to approach New Music! Henze's enchanting fairytale opera ''Pollicino'' was written for the school children of the little hiltop vollage, Montpulciano, in Tuscany where he stated his famous summer workshop. It has since been performed all over the world, including two productions in England.
