The distinctive sound and expressive range of the cimbalom have inspired generations of composers. Our collection (Z. 8464, Z. 8465) presents short pieces with a wide variety of characters, by leading Hungarian composers of the 20th century.

The second volume includes eight pieces written for cimbalom and a melody instrument, offering excellent additions to both beginner and advanced chamber ensembles’ concert repertoire.
