This publication presents five harpsichord pieces attributed to Georg Friedrich Handel, preserved in the eighteenth-century manuscript collection of the Hungarian organist Pantaleon Roskovszki. Although their authenticity cannot be conclusively verified, the provenance of the source, together with the stylistic characteristics of the works, provides compelling evidence that at least some of them may be connected to Handel’s Italian period and the vibrant keyboard tradition of his contemporaries. Carefully edited from a damaged and often fragmentary manuscript, this edition seeks to offer a reliable and performable text while remaining faithful to the original source.
