Released in November 2000 'Conspiracy of One' is the last Offspring album to feature drummer Ron Welty who left in 2003 to persue his career with another band. It was this album that The Offspring fuelled controversy over the problems of file sharing - saying that it does not affect sales. The album was due to be posted to their website prior to it's release until their record label threatened to sue. A bit of controversy certainly never harmed sales!
