The 24 solo pieces by the renowned guitar pedagogue Dieter Kreidler are progressively arranged and their compositional technique is based on historical models by baroque lutenists on the one hand, and on the alternating bass technique, which has emerged since 1920 and is celebrated today by such popular guitarists as Andy McKee and Tommy Emmanuel, on the other.
